Gifted children and young people often have exceptional abilities, but giftedness does not always mean that school, friendships, emotions, or everyday life are easy. Some gifted students may become bored or disengaged when they are not sufficiently challenged, while others may experience perfectionism, frustration, social difficulties, underachievement, or challenges related to emotional regulation.

At Core Centre Psychological Services, the Academy of Excellence provides individualized support designed to address both the opportunities and challenges associated with giftedness. Our approach begins with understanding each young person's unique abilities, learning profile, strengths, and needs.

Our gifted assessment services are provided exclusively in person, face-to-face, at our Mississauga clinic.
