Struggling to disconnect from screens and unwind? Don't worry! We are here to help! As a Core Centre team, we would like to warmly invite youth to a series of online workshops part of the "Digital Wellbeing" project. Our workshop aims to tackle common issues arising from the misuse of digital media, ultimately helping you to develop a healthy digital habit. During each session, there will be time for a discussion with a digital wellbeing counselor and mental health professionals! This workshop is for ages 15 and up.
What to Expect:
The workshop will be divided into 4 main topics, such as:
- Creating a Healthy Online Habits: Learn how to maintain a balanced routine within social media and online gaming domination.
- Understand your emotions regarding online activities: Explore the range of emotions experienced during online activities like gaming and scrolling.
- Finding Motivation and Overcoming Procrastination: Gain strategies for finding motivation and combating procrastination.
- Create Positive Interactions: Learn techniques for positive and meaningful interactions in digital spaces, including social media and online communities.
Each topic will be the focus of each of the 4 online sessions with a duration of 40 minutes each.
By being a participant of this workshop, you are also participating in our project that evaluates effectiveness of tools and strategies we use to help people with their digital wellbeing.
